The Glenroy (Hilton Street) Wesleyan Methodist Church celebrated the installation of Pastor Dean

Ridgway on Sunday July 4th, 2010. Pastor Dean is the third Ridgway to serve as pastor of this

church. Established by his great-grandfather, Rev. Kingsley Ridgway in 1957, the church was later

also served by his grandfather, Dr. Jim Ridgway from 1959-1966.

To add to the uniqueness of this appointment, the installation was conducted by Pastor Dean’s

father, Rev. Kent Ridgway, who serves as the Superintendent of the Southern District of Wesleyan

Methodist churches (W.A., S.A., and Vic.).  Dean and Rosslyn join a list of dedicated pastors

spanning over fifty years of service to the Glenroy community with fresh enthusiasm and

commitment.
