The Nambour Wesleyan Methodist Church is seeking expressions of interest from any Wesleyan Pastor who may feel that God is leading them to pastor our church.
The Nambour Church has been going for almost 30 years. At present we have a congregation of just over 50 with an average attendance of 44 on Sunday mornings. The congregation is mostly elderly people, so our services are more traditional.
Nambour is 1 hrs drive north of Brisbane and is part of Queensland Sunshine Coast. It is a rapidly growing town with a population of almost 20, 000.
The position available is for a full-time pastor, so the stipend is set at the recommended by the National Board.

YOUTH / WORSHIP LEADER – 1 Year Appointment
LifeChurch WMC is looking for a dynamic team member to lead our awesome youth and worship ministries for an initial one-year appointment!
The ideal candidate will have a sense of God’s calling to youth and worship ministries, excellent people, communication and leadership skills, and the ability to connect with students and families. They will live a life of integrity and be hard-working with a commitment to personal growth and regular daily devotional times.
The role includes leading, planning and advertising our Friday night youth ministry and midweek bible study, recruiting, training and encouraging a team of volunteer leaders, being an active part of planning and preparing Sunday services, leading worship and rostering the worship team.
Work hours and pay are dependent on experience and qualifications. We would be willing to split the role into two part time jobs, so please get in touch if you’re interested in either the youth or worship aspects of the role.
