Yeppoon Wesleyan Methodist Church in North Queensland District is seeking a suitable person to pastor their campus church in Mackay on a part-time basis.
Yeppoon Wesleyan Methodist Church has a strategic opportunity for a motivated person to Pastor our developing church outreach ministry in Mackay Qld. It will be at first a two day per week commitment and available to grow with the church. There may also be other Chaplaincy work available.
The church has a group of talented musicians who are committed and loyal members who have a vision to reach out into Mackay city and surrounding district.

In 2026, Childers Wesleyan Methodist Church transitioned into a newly renovated building. Our fellowship is experiencing growth both spiritually and numerically, and we are embracing new opportunities for ministry expansion in this exciting season.
We are seeking a pastor to join the team demonstrating the following qualities and skills:
- Focus on the Word and discipleship
- Competence in governance and compliance with relevant authorities
- Dedication to meeting the needs of both the congregation and the wider community
- Ability to train and equip others for lay preaching and a variety of ministries
- Capacity to relate to all age groups within Childers, including the elderly, retirees, families, youth, children, cultural groups and seasonal workers
- Willingness to work collaboratively within the pastoral team
