DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT
Rev. Rob Simpson
Rev Rob Simpson loves the local church and has been a local church pastor for almost 25 years. For most of that time, he has served as Senior Pastor of LifeChurch in Maryborough. He has also functioned in various District and national church roles including National Board member, National Editor of “The Australian Wesleyan” and Assistant District Superintendent.
Rob identifies with God’s heart for the poor and oppressed. He was instrumental in launching a local foodbank in Maryborough and a church plant in Hervey Bay which helps to feed and clothe the homeless. Rob is passionate about seeing lives deeply transformed by the Holy Spirit when truly surrendered to Jesus.
Rob was born in PNG and spent time in Arnhem Land as a child before moving to Queensland for most of his schooling. He is married to Karen and together they have two adult daughters who they adore.
